What is Magic Mesh?

Magic mesh is a fabric mesh screen door that attaches to your wall with Velcro and uses eighteen magnets to close behind you. No need to use your hands – just walk through it and it “magically” snaps shut right behind you!

Magic Mesh seems like a great idea for families with kids (who tend to slam doors!), people with pets that need to get in and out easily, and those who want to let the fresh air in but don’t relish the idea of flies gathering in their kitchen.

I know one thing that is really frustrating is having my hands full then having to stop and put down everything I’m carrying just so I can open the door. I’m grateful because with Magic Mesh I don’t have to worry about it anymore.

Magic Mesh installation

Installing Magic Mesh is a simple process. First, peel and stick the lengths of velcro above your door. Second, attach the velcro on the Magic Mesh door to the velcro on your wall. Done! Easy as pie.

Other mesh doors require a bar to be installed above the door. That’s not a bad idea, but the beauty of Magic Mesh is that there’s no hardware to bother with. Even a person without any handy skills should have no problem installing it.

 

Will Magic Mesh Work on Your Door?

Magic Mesh is great for all types of doors. It works on single width doors, sliding glass doors, RV or camper doors, and any type of door you can think of! Its eighteen magnets guarantee that it will close correctly no matter what size door it’s in.

You can install Magic Mesh without interference to your exterior door since it goes up on the inside of your house. When the weather starts to get cold, just take it down, fold it up, and keep it until the next season!

The mesh material is extremely durable and can be used for years. That’s good news for those with children who are hard on everything! Magic Mesh can stand up to constant wear and tear.

After doing some research online I’m convinced that Magic Mesh is what I need for the summer. I have little ones that like to go in and out and I like to keep the door open so I can hear them out on the patio. Of course, this leads to flies all over my kitchen and bathroom, so Magic Mesh is the perfect solution!

Magic Mesh for Campers

One thing I’ve noticed while scouring the internet for Magic Mesh reviews is that it seems to be popular with people who have campers. Apparently, not all camper models come with screen doors and many people are looking for a solution!

I especially noticed that there are lots of people with “vintage” campers that are frustrated by the lack of screen door. Why spend time crafting a custom screen door when you can quickly and easily use Magic Mesh?

In one forum, people were going back and forth about creating custom screen doors for their campers when one user pointed out that Magic Mesh would be a good option. Loooooove it! I had a similar mesh door with velcro before i bought the magic mesh and it was better then a regular screen door slamming behind me but it was still a hassle for me to get in and out of the velcro door but with the magic mesh you dont have to worry about any of that because it uses magnets… I STRONGLY Recommend.

The magnets really are one of the best features of the Magic Mesh screen door – it’s one thing to have a hanging piece of mesh with Velcro tabs to keep it shut, but the “magic” is really in the magnets. It totally eliminates all hassle!
